The Senate Judiciary Committee has scheduled the confirmation hearings for soon to be Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan. The hearings will be held during the week of June 28. That allows the hearing to conclude in all likelihood before the July 4 recess, allowing a floor vote easily before the summer recess. I predict she will be easily confirmed.
