Environmental attorney Sanders says East Kentucky Power Cooperative’s air permits for two new coal fired boilers at Winchester plant are summarized by KDAQ on web.

For those readers that are interested, the Kentucky Division for Air Quality has posted a permit summary for East Kentucky Power Cooperative’s new JK Smith coal fired electric generating station at 12145 Irvine Road, in Winchester, Kentucky.  Permit Summary KDAQ JK SMith Generating Station Winchester, KY

In April 2008, the utility asked to permit two new coal fired circulating fluidized bed boilers, and associated operations at its existing JK SMith Generating Station.  East Kentucky Power Cooperative filed an amended permit in June 2008.
