Attorney Sanders says U.S. DOE ready to flip the switch on large solar energy system atop agency's office building in Washington, D.C.

On Tuesday, September 9, 2008, the U.S. Department of Energy (“DOE”) will flip the switch on the largest solar power system in Washington, D.C.  The solar powered system is installed atop the DOE’s Forrestal Building located at 1000 Independence Avenue SW in Washington, DC.  The project will help DOE meet its goals for use of renewable energy as part of DOE’s Transformational Energy Action Management (TEAM) Initiative, launched last year.
