The Kentucky Clean Fuels Coalition, which was established in 1993, works to improve air quality and support economic development across Kentucky by promoting the use of clean fuels and educating about evolving energy technologies. A 501c3 organization, the KCFC is governed by a board of directors and officers. Membership is composed of major auto manufacturers, equipment providers, private and public fleet managers, government agencies, fuel providers and universities. KCFC manages the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities Program and maintains tremendous national recognition. Through a national network of 94 cities, the KCFC has secured over $7 million dollars for clean fuel projects across the Commonwealth. The next KCFC Meeting is May 27, 2008, from 10 am – 1 pm EDT at Receptions South Center, 1379 Donaldson Road, Erlanger KY 41018. The event speaker is U. S. Senator Jim Bunning of Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
