Tom FitzGerald appointed to Kentucky Environmental Education Council.

Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear appointed Tom FitzGerald to serve as a member of the Kentucky Environmental Education Council.  FitzGerald represents environmental interests, as the director of the Kentucky Resources Council, Inc.  He also is an adjunct professor of Energy and Environmental Law at the University of Louisville Law School.   FitzGerald replaces Kurt D. Mason, who has resigned.  FitzGerald shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending Oct. 5, 2010.

The Kentucky Environmental Education Council is composed of nine gubernatorial appointees.  The council is charged with improving Kentuckians’ understanding of their environment.  Congratulations to Tom FitzGerald and we wish him the very best of luck in this position.
